Kids Go Free to the California Center for the Arts Museum, Escondido!
This October, immerse your family in contemporary art at the California Center for the Arts Museum, Escondido. The featured exhibition Blood Memory brings together regional artists from Native nations and Indigenous communities to explore how ancestral knowledge, cultural memory, and lived experience are carried across generations. Through painting, sculpture, film, photography, fashion, design, and installation, the artists examine the ways history is preserved, questioned, reclaimed, and understood anew. The exhibition also features Before There Were Borders, an interactive extended reality mural by OurWorlds that connects museum visitors with the companion mural at the San Diego Central Library, creating an evolving exchange between the two locations.
