The Museum at the CCAE hosts four to six exhibitions per year. The Museum seeks to provide North County San Diego with access to relevant, thought-provoking, and wide-ranging exhibitions that highlight contemporary artwork. Each show is accompanied by a dedicated Emerging Artist Gallery as a commitment to supporting young artists in the community.

Constraint and Transcendence reveals the never-ending journey of self-discovery and personal transformation that characterizes the work of San Diego artist Huai Li. This retrospective surveys Li’s nearly thirty-five years of artmaking. Her work embodies an art practice driven by a relentless curiosity and experimentation through material and form.
