El Trompo teaches young visitors to incorporate science concepts into their daily lives and better understand the world where they live, providing answers to their curiosity, interests and needs; promoting development and comprehensive learning.
Designed by Architect Francisco López Guerra, as the Tijuana El Trompo Interactive Museum, it was inaugurated on December 9, 2008 within the perimeter of Parque Morelos, it has 4 levels that house the 3D movie theater, an auditorium and exhibition rooms. The theme is based on the theory of free learning and the experience of meaningful learning.
