Located on 10 acres of oak woodlands near Julian, California, the Ilan-Lael compound encompasses living quarters, studio and gallery spaces, gardens and a public building for the Ilan-Lael Foundation. Tours are approximately 90 minutes and limited to small groups to enhance your experience. Enjoy the on-site gallery and gift shop offering Hubbell art, books, hand-crafted artisan items, and more. Open Volunteer Day / June 27 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Open work days are a perfect opportunity to give back to the community while helping us care for the iconic Ilan-Lael property. We invite you to bring along friends to share in the experience on these informal and fun work days. We have activities in the garden, archive, docent training and property clean up.
Walking Tour of Hubbell Art in Tecate, MX / June 28 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
This walking tour will be based at Rancho La Puerta, a wellness resort known for its beautiful scenery. Explore James Hubbell’s artistic touch through visits to the Museo Kumiai and other key locations.
