RUTH: Remember Us the Holocaust newest exhibit San Diego Holocaust Survivors Tell Their Stories at the La Jolla Riford Library is open to the public and will always be a FREE exhibit. The exhibit features San Diego Holocaust survivors who are continuing to share their stories along with those who have made significant contributions to our history. RUTH provides a unique, immersive experience shedding light on ALL victims of the Holocaust to demonstrate how it was not only Jewish victims but other victims that followed in the footsteps of their unfortunate fate as well. The exhibit has 16 life-size cardboard cutouts of Holocaust survivors. 14 of the survivors are still living in San Diego. Suitable for: Adults / Teens. Read more here.
The exhibit has been recognized by the USC Shoah Foundation, Chula Vista Cultural Arts, Chula Vista Elementary School District, the City of Chula Vista, Southwestern College, San Diego County Arts and Culture Commission, and Jewish organizations throughout San Diego.
The free exhibit runs until December 2025 at the La Jolla Riford Library. Sandra will be at the exhibit every Thursday from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Sandra Scheller says field trips from schools are welcome. To book her presentation visit sscheller@cox.net. For more information click here.
