With over 27,000 square feet of tracks, trestles, and trains, the San Diego Model Railroad Museum is a world of wonder for kids and kids at heart. With six exhibits, the museum is one of the largest and the only accredited model railroad museum in the country.

“Shake Rattle Roll”, featuring railroad graffiti culture through generations and the connection to the model railroading community. From the early 1900’s to today, graffiti has functioned as a form of community, documentation, voice and a love of the canvas. Become absorbed with displays featuring authentic freight train graffiti models to engaging with hands-on interactives that allow guests to practice expression through writing and art.
