In 2025, the San Diego Watercolor Society (SDWS) proudly celebrated its 60th anniversary, honoring six decades of promoting watermedia art within the community. Since its founding in 1965 with just 16 charter members, SDWS has grown to nearly 700 members and evolved into a vibrant gallery and education center located in The Arts District Liberty Station in San Diego.
SDWS hosts a variety of events throughout the year. As a nonprofit organization, SDWS remains committed to nurturing artists and providing a broad range of programs and activities that enrich both its members and the community. Learn more here.
