Kids Go Free to San Diego Watercolor Society!
Located in Arts District Liberty Station, the San Diego Watercolor Society is a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to the art of watermedia painting. Founded in 1965, the Society offers a welcoming gallery where visitors can discover original works by local, national, and international artists through monthly juried exhibitions, workshops, and community programs.
This October, families can visit during the 46th Annual International Exhibition, on view September 27 through October 31, 2026. The exhibition features more than 100 original watermedia paintings selected from hundreds of submissions from artists across the United States and around the world. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to see the wide range of styles, techniques, and creative possibilities of watercolor and other water-based media.
The gallery is located at 2825 Dewey Road, Suite 105, Liberty Station, San Diego, CA 92106 and is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is always free.
