Coronado Historical Association
Who doesn’t love a drive over the iconic Coronado Bridge, with some of the best views in San Diego? This Museum Month, treat yourself to a trip across the bay to see the new exhibit Uprooted: The Story of the Japanese Americans of Coronado. From immigration in the early 20th century to internment during World War II and post-war resettlement, Uprooted traces the stories of Japanese American families in Coronado. Explore the influence of Japanese-style landscape arts in American society through gardens such as Coronado’s own Japanese Tea Garden. The exhibit is free for all guests. (Note: Museum admission is always free.)
